Christmas Day

Abigail had a great Christmas day...we spent the morning at home and then went to Andy's parents house. We had a great time talking, eating and watching Abbie enjoy herself!
New Chuck's...just like mommy:) She got a black and pink pair!
Abbie with a set of pots and pans...she got an entire kitchen set up! Very cool:)

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was a wonderful day. We always go to my parents house and have a big family dinner. It is a great time...here are some pictures from the day.
Abbie in front of our house...we have had over a foot of snow in the last week!

Santa made an appearance at the Christmas Eve party. Abbie sure was happy to see him! We all thought that she would instantly recognize it was her papa dressed like Santa, but she didn't seem to make the connection.

Abbie loved this fishing game!

Cold, cold, cold

Although we didn't get snow up our way this weekend, it was still very cold! Abbie was hoping for snow, but mommy was the one who was really disappointed we didn't get any. There is still a chance we will get some in a few days from now. Until then, Abbie is ready with her winter coat, hat and gloves:)

Grown-Up Tea Party

Every year my grandma has a Christmas tea party for her nieces. I always help her get ready and serve the courses. This year, Abigail got to join in and she had a great time. She loves having tea parties with her plastic set...so it was neat for her to have a real fancy tea party.

Ginger Bread House

Abbie and mommy made a ginger bread house today. Abbie had so much fun, but liked eating the candy more than decorating the house. But she did a great job! I don't think the house will last long though, as she is eating the candy off the house as I write this:0 )

Christmas is coming...

Abigail is so excited about Christmas! She has been helping mommy decorate the house, go Christmas shopping, and has even helped wrap the presents. I love watching her play with the nativity set and tell the story of baby Jesus....it is so precious. Abbie has already had her Christmas photos taken...twice, and we are going to get our tree on Saturday. This truly is the most wonderful time of the year, and I am so happy I get to share it with Abbie!
